Remember! The command: [@] [OPTIONS] allows you to edit values in scale 0-255
[HOME]
This soft key sets the home values for the selected fixtures. Home values are neutral values. Home
values can be checked inside the fixture patch, in the Hm column.
This key can be used as a normal change, for all the fixtures parameters or only for the selected
parameter, respectively:
[FIXTURE] [#] ([THRU] [#])[HOME]
[FIXTURE] [#] [PARAM] [#] [HOME]
[PALs]
Palettes are pre-programmed values for fixtures parameters, according to the category type of the
parameters. These values, simplely, help you to search quick editions, and allow you, in example,
to search a “red” colour for any fixture.
To use palettes, it’s needed to activate [PALs], its LED lits. In this status you can use any of these
methods:
a) {select fixtures} [COL] {press the desired bank key to apply the palette}
b) {select fixtures} [COL] [#] [ENTER] to apply the palette by keyboard.
c) {select fixtures} [COL] [@] (open a options red window) [#] [ENTER] to apply the
palette by keyboard.
Piccolo Scan has palettes of all the categories, including dimmer (DIM) palettes, and you can apply
all the needed. In example:
[FIXTURE] [1] [DIM] [B_8]80% [COL] [B_3]YELLOW- [GOB] [B_1]GOBO1
Palettes cannot be modified, deleted or referenced…
[LIBs]
Libraries are values programmed by the user for fixture parameters, in accordance to the category of
these parameters. These values help us to edit quickly and to modify. There are 2 libraries types:
COL, GOB, BEAM & XTRA are generic libraries. These libraries must be stored over, at least,
one fixture of each type that is needed to include in the library, and then these values can be
extrapolates to any other fixture of the included type. In the next parts you can see examples with
colors, but its the same for gobos, beams & xtras.
DIM & POS are particular libraries (by item). These libraries must be stored including all and
each one of the fixtures. Position data aren’t extrapolated of one fixture to other. DIM libraries
admit all the parameters of all fixtures and channels. They are scenes.
Piccolo Scan has 99 libraries for each category, including the special dimmer libraries (DIM),
