An event is an action for playback that has a TC associated. An event, is executed when the
current TC arrives to the value of TC defined. Types of events:
Load in CROSSFADER X, the pre defined cue and start it in next cross-fade.
Execution of a pre defined MACRO
The events list is programmed from menu 23. Open this menu by pressing [MENU][2][3]. This
menu has 2 parts, the events list and the general options. Press [OPTIONS] to toggle between these
parts.
General options:
(0:OFF, 1:ON)
to activate (ON) or deactivate (OFF) the events in the list to be executed. This option is also in
menu 70: Multimedia Panel.
(0: MTC, 1: CLOCK, 2:INTERNAL, 3:SMPTE)
Selecting the source of clock, that will control the execution of the event list.
For sources like MTC, SMPTE or CLOCK, the time values depend of the external source or of
the console, but they cannot be set by the user in Piccolo. Only, if there is an Offset adjustment
that allows to advance or to delay the events in the same proportion, as in connection to read TC.
For the internal source INTERNAL the user can manipulate the current TC:
(0:STOP, 1:PLAY, 2:PAUSE, 3:AUTOPLAY)
PLAY: Starts the TC counter from the current value to the value programmed in To
PAUSE: Pauses the TC counter, but maintains its current value (if counter is not at zero)
STOP: Stops the TC counter, and sets the counter to zero (or the value set in From)
AUTOPLAY: Starts the TC counter in a cycle. When the last value is reached (To), it jumps to
the first value (From) and so on.
From00:00:00:00
First value for the clock TC INTERNAL, by default 00:00:00:00
This value can be set in the events list, from the column Internal, selecting the option 0:
SET FROM.
To23:59:59:29
Last value for the clock TC INTERNAL by default 23:59:59:29
This value can be set in the events list, from the column Internal, selecting the option 1:
SET TO.
The event list has an event per line. Take in mind the following facts:
TC is the value of the clock that starts the event. This value can be edited using the numeric
keypad or can be captured from the time source, pressing [INSERT] with this cell activ
To capture or edit the TC, the events list can be activate (ON) or off. If activate (ON), at the
same time that the TC is captured, the events list is executed. This way you can simulate the
real execution of the events in the list
