Object-Attribute
Pairs
The T1.317 standard provides access to system measurements,
configuration, and control through attributes. Each measurement,
configuration, or control parameter is uniquely identified by an
object-attribute pair. For example, the object-attribute pair “dc1,vdc”
identifies the plant voltage while the object-attribute pair “dc1,adc”
identifies the plant load current. In each of these examples “dc1”
identifies the plant object and “vdc” and “adc” identify DC voltage and
DC current respectively.
Table 6-B summarizes the object-attribute pairs in the system along with
the commands that can be used with the pair and the valid range for the
attribute.
