CAUTION: A break-in period of
10 operating hours 500 km
(300 miles) is required befo re
running the snowmobile at full
throttle.
During break-in period, maximum
throttle shou ld not exceed 3/4 op en -
ing. However, brief full acceleration
and speed variations contribute to a
good break-in.
CAUTION: Engine overheating,
continued wide open throttle runs
and prolonged cruising without
speed variations should be avoid-
ed, this can cause engine damage
during the break-in period.
593SS and 800R Engine Only
To assure additional protection during
the initial engine break-in, 500 m L of
recomm e nd e d injection oil sh o uld be
added to fuel for the first full filling o f
fuel tank. Have spark plugs cleaned
after engine break-in.
Belt
A new drive belt requires a break-in pe-
riod of 50 km . Avoid strong ac celera-
tion/deceleratio n, pulling a load or high
speed cruising.
10-Hour Inspection
NOTE: The 10-hour inspec tion is at the

chanical equipment, we suggest that
after the first 10 hours of operation or
500 km, whichever comes firs t, your
