REPLACE Fuel pre-filter

Wipe the outside of the prefilter as well as its support thoroughly to prevent dust from penetrating the system.
Make sure the electrical contact on the telehandler is cut, otherwise fuel will be released if the lift pump is on.
- Open the engine bonnet.
- Wipe the outside of the filter as well as its support thoroughly to prevent dust from
penetrating the system.
- Place a receptacle under the pre-filter and empty using drain plug 1.
- Remove container 2 and discard cartridge 3 as well as its seals.
- Clean the inside of the filter head and the housing, using a brush immersed in
clean diesel oil.
- Lightly lubricate the new seals with clean engine oil and refit the assembly with a new cartridge (see: 3 - MAINTENANCE:
FILTER ELEMENTS AND BELTS).
- Retighten tank 2 (tightening torque 14 N.m).

Wipe the outside of the prefilter as well as its support thoroughly to prevent dust from penetrating the system.
- Open the engine bonnet.
- Wipe the outside of the filter as well as its support thoroughly to prevent dust from
penetrating the system.
- Place a receptacle under the filter and empty using drain plug 1.
- Loosen the filter 2 and discard it as well as its seals.
- Clean the inside of the filter head with a brush wetted with clean diesel.
- Lightly lubricate the new seals with clean engine oil and refit the assembly with a
new filter (see: 3 - MAINTENANCE: FILTER ELEMENTS AND BELTS).
- Retighten the filter on its support (tightening torque 10 N.m).
- Start up the I.C. engine and make sure there is no leakage.
