5 - AUTOMATIC TOWING HOOK ON COUPLING LADDER (OPTIONAL)

Pay attention to the risk of pinching or crushing during this operation.
When released, ensure that the trailer stands on its own.
- Position the lift truck as near as possible to the trailer ring.
ADUSTING THE TOWING HOOK
- Lift handle 1 and turn it upward to release pins 2 on each side of the ladder.
- Support the towing hook and position it according to the height of the trailer ring.
- Turn handle 1 downward to insert pins 2 into the ladder and release the handle.
COUPLING THE TRAILER
- Lift the automatic towing pin using lever 3.
- Move the telehandler so that the ring of the trailer is in the automatic hook.
NOTE:
the hook closes automatically when the ring of the trailer touches the bottom part of the hook. The hook can be
lowered by hand using lever 3.
UNCOUPLING THE TRAILER
- Lift the hook using lever 3 to uncouple the trailer.

- Turn handle 1 downward to insert pins 2 into the ladder and release the handle.
COUPLING AND UNCOUPLING THE TRAILER
- Remove pin 2, remove pin 3.
- Lift stop 4.
- Position or remove the towing hook on the towing ball.
- Refit block 4, pin 3 and pin 2.
