12. Install the cable retainer to the top plate of the 2
nd
section (Figure 4-11).
13. On the base end of the 2
nd
section install the upper wear
pad and plate (Figure 4-12).
14. Extend the 4
th
section 101 to 127 mm (4 to 5 in).
15. Extend the 3
rd
section 101 to 127 mm (4 to 5 in) or until
the anchor plate is accessible.
16. Install the anchor assembly, plate and extend cable
(Figure 4-13).
Telescope Cylinder Installation
1. Install the sheave wheels on the telescope cylinder. The
holes in the end of the pin must be located as shown in
(Figure 4-14).
2. Reeve the retract cables around the telescope cylinder
sheaves.
3. Install the wear pads on the telescope cylinder.
NOTE: Ensure the top wear pads do not fall off during
cylinder installation (Figure 4-14).
4. Insert the telescope cylinder assembly ½ to ¾ of the way
into the 2
nd
section.
5. At the base end of the 4
th
section (Figure 4-15) install
the anchor assembly in the following order:
a. Plate
b. Extend cable button ends
c. Anchor assembly and cap screws
