Cable Tension Sequence
Five section boom with two stage cylinder.
Cable tensioning (See Figure 4-20) to be in the following
order:
1. 321 retract cables
2. 123 extend (synchronizing) cables.
3. 234 extend cables
4. 432 retract cables.
5. 345 extend cables
6. 543 retract cables.
Four section boom with two stage cylinder.
Cable tensioning to be in the following order:
1. 321 retract cables
2. 123 extend (synchronizing) cables.
3. 234 extend cables
4. 432 retract cables.
Four section boom with one stage cylinder.
Cable tensioning to be in the following order:
1. 123 extend cables.
2. 321 retract cables.
3. 234 extend cables.
4. 432 retract cables.
Three section boom with one stage cylinder.
Cable tensioning to be in the following order:
1. 123 extend cables.
2. 321 retract cables.
