NBT30H-2 SERVICE MANUAL CRANE INSTALLATION
Mount the Frame Assembly
1. Position the frame assembly on the T-box so that the
mounting bolts can be routed through the tubes on the
T-box.
2. Bolt the frame to the anchor brackets on the truck frame
with the 1-1/8 inch grade 8 bolts (Figure 9-15). For
torque values, refer to Fasteners and Torque Values,
page 1-12. Cut the anchor retaining bracket for the front
anchor to fit inside the truck frame.
3. Install the front anchor brackets and properly torque the
bolts.
Install the Front Outriggers
Install the front outriggers in the frame as described in
Outrigger Beam Installation, page 7-3. See page 9-25 for
outrigger hydraulic connections
1-1/8 inch - UNC Grade 8 Crane Anchor
Bolts. For torque values, refer to Fasteners
and Torque Values, page 1-12.
Square Spacer
1-1/8 inch Grade 8 Front
Anchor Bolts. For torque
values, refer to Fasteners and
Torque Values, page 1-12.
