Lubricating of the guide rails for the
zoom/focus module and the CMY
module
Use Klüber Barrierta high-temperature lubricant (P/N
37302015) on axels, iris gears and other surfarces that
require lubrication.
Always reapply lubricant if it is required according to
the maintenance schedule or if you install new parts.
Always use the correct amount of lubricant. Do not
over-lubricate.
Before you reaplly lubricant, make sure to wipe clean
the axles, rails and joints with a paper towel.
If you apply lubricant to an axel:
1. Apply a small amount of lubricant to the shafts of
the sliding component.
2. To test if the amount of lubricant applied is
sufcient, move the sliding components back and
forth to distribute the grease.
NOTE! The sliding components should only leave
a very thin deposit of lubricant on the shaft.
