1.3.4. EXCLUSION CLAUSES
The warranty covers exclusively material and manufacturing defects which occurred during
the above described periods of time. The warranty does not cover the natural wear and
tear of parts or any damage caused by improper handling, negligence, or non-observance
of the user manuals or Service Information Letters. The warranty expires immediately if any
of the following conditions are infringed:
– The anemometer shall only be serviced or repaired by qualified, trained and author-
ized technicians. A list of certified service centers can be found on www.mbv.ch.
– The anemometer shall only be serviced or repaired as described in the MBV AG ser-
vice manual.
– The anemometer shall only be serviced or repaired using original MBV AG spare
parts.
– The anemometer shall only be operated according to the defined intended use.
– The anemometer shall only be operated and updated with original firmware from
MBV AG.
– The anemometer shall not be modified physically in any way.
Hazard of damage to the anemometer
There are no user-serviceable parts inside the anemometer.
Do not perform any intervention inside the anemometer.
Only trained, qualified and authorized technicians can perform repair and
maintenance activities.
Risk of warranty loss
Every anemometer is secured with an anti-tamper seal.
Disassembling the anemometer will break the seal and render the warranty
void.
