6.2. MANUAL CALIBRATION CHECK
PROCEDURE
1) Perform the following steps in a clean and draft-free place, with all instruments placed
on a stable base.
2) Remove the perforated lid.
3) Check the lower edge of the perforated lid visually
to ensure that there are no notches or unevenness.
This could lead to a leak between the perforated lid
and the base.
Damaged perforated lids must be replaced.
4) Remount the perforated lid.
5) Place the anemometer on the perforated lid of the air sampler.
6) Start the anemometer by pressing the ON/OFF
button.
The anemometer is in mass flow mode, showing
SLPM on the display.
7) Start up the air sampler by simultaneously pressing the buttons and for ap-
proximately 3seconds.
8) The air sampler is now in the Fabtest menu.
Choose Method,
then press Select.
9) The air sampler is now in the Method menu.
Choose Manual calib.,
then press Select.
Pressing Exit shuts down the air sampler.
10) The blower will now start up.
Pressing Stop interrupts the process and reverts to
the Method menu.
11) The air sampler is now ready for the calibration.
Do not press Next, proceed to step 12.
Pressing Cancel interrupts the process and reverts
to the Method menu.
