6.6. AUTOMATIC ADJUSTMENT
PROCEDURE
1) Perform the following steps in a clean and draft-free place, with all instruments placed
on a stable base.
2) Remove the perforated lid.
3) Check the lower edge of the perforated lid visually
to ensure that there are no notches or unevenness.
This could lead to a leak between the perforated lid
and the base.
Damaged perforated lids must be replaced.
4) Remount the perforated lid.
5) Place the anemometer on the perforated lid of the air sampler.
6) Connect the anemometer with the air sampler with the suitable connection cable.
7) Start the anemometer by pressing the ON/OFF
button.
The anemometer is in mass flow mode, showing
SLPM on the display.
8) Start up the air sampler by simultaneously pressing the buttons and for ap-
proximately 3seconds.
9) The air sampler is now in the Fabtest menu.
Choose Method,
then press Select.
10) The air sampler is now in the Method menu.
Choose Automatic adjus.,
then press Select
Pressing Exit shuts down the air sampler.
11) The air sampler is now in the Adjustment flow
menu.
The parameters for the current adjustment point
are shown:
Adjustment flow (Target) SLPM
Perforated lid Type
12) Press Start to adjust the air sampler with the shown parameters
or
Select with the / buttons the parameter which needs to be adapted and press
Change.
