16. ADJUSTMENT AND CALIBRATION OF
THE ANEMOMETER
16.1. GENERAL
Adjustment = Adjust an instrument to a standard
Calibration = Compare an instrument to a standard
Note
The anemometer is adjusted and calibrated prior to shipping from the factory.
16.2. CALIBRATION RANGES FOR MAS-100 REGULUS
Full range calibration (standard): 50 to 300 L/min
Current MAS-100 familiy instruments calibration: 90 to 110 L/min
16.3. CALIBRATION SERVICE
MBV: Provide the full range calibration.
EMD: Provide the current MAS-100 Family instruments calibration and will provide the full
range calibration for MAS-100 Regulus in the future.

Hazard of wrong sampling results
The anemometer shall only be calibrated by service providers featuring ap-
propriately certified personnel, equipment and processes.
16.4. FACTORY CALIBRATION CERTIFICATES
The anemometer is calibrated by the MBV calibration laboratory for airflow, which has been
accredited by the Swiss Accreditation Service SAS according to ISO 17025:2017.
Optionally, MBV offers ISO 17025 calibration certificates for standard liters per minute
(SLPM) flows in addition to Liter per minute (LPM) calibration certificate. The conversion
formula is given in Annex B.1
