The anemometer is powered by a standard 9Volt type 6LR61 alkaline battery.
Exchange the battery when the warning «Battery almost empty» appears.
PROCEDURE
1) Shut down the anemometer.
2) Put the perforated lid (A) of an air sampler of
the MAS-100 product family onto the bottom
plate (C) of the anemometer so that the
notches of the lid engage in the recesses (B).
3) Unscrew the bottom plate by turning it coun-
ter-clockwise and remove it from the ane-
mometer.
4) Open the battery retainer (A) by swiveling it
in the direction of the arrow.
5) Pull the battery (A) out of its compartment.
6) Unplug the battery connector (A) from the
battery (B).
7) Install the new battery in reverse order as de-
scribed for removal.
8) Re-assemble the bottom plate.
9) Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 5 sec-
onds to perform a hardware reset.
NOTE: Performing a hardware reset does not
result in a data loss.
