A.2 MAS-100 NT/NT EX & MAS-100 ISO NT/MH
This chapter provides general information about the adjustment and calibration procedures
of the air samplers MAS-100 NT, MAS-100 NT Ex, MAS-100 Iso NT and MAS-100 Iso MH.
Above mentioned air samplers form the so-called NT generation.
A.2.1 PWM value
The PWM value (in percent) describes the actual power delivered to the motor. It is only
needed for testing or manual adjustments to determine the «ADC at target flow». During a
measurement this value fluctuates and adapts permanently to the feedback of the flow sen-
sor.
A.2.2 Methods of adjustments for the air sampler NT generation
Air samplers of the NT generation use a linear adjustment curve defined as follows:
The parameter a r
epresents the offset of the curve.
The parameter b represents the gain of the curve.
A.2.3 Manual 1-point flow sensor adjustment
– One measurement is taken.
– Only the offset is influenced by the adjustment.
– The gain of the curve remains unaltered.
