7.5. AUTOMATIC ADJUSTMENT AND CALIBRATION
PROCEDURE
1) Perform the following steps in a clean and draft-free place, with all instruments placed
on a stable base.
2) Remove the perforated lid.
Place a MAS-100 Family Calibration Disk or a Petri dish inside the sampling head.
Remount the perforated lid.
3) Check the lower edge of the perforated lid visually
to ensure that there are no notches or unevenness.
This could lead to a leak between the perforated lid
and the base.
Damaged perforated lids must be replaced.
4) Place the anemometer on the perforated lid of the air sampler.
5) Connect the air sampler to the anemometer with the suitable communication cable.
6) Connect the air sampler to the PC with the suitable communication cable.
7) Start the anemometer by pressing the ON/OFF
button.
Press the Units button.
The anemometer is in volume flow mode, showing
L/min on the display.
8) Start the air sampler by pressing and holding the
button for 2 seconds.
9) Start the PC.
10) Open a suitable internet browser.
11) Log into the Browser-based Software.
12) Select the Automatic adjustment and calibration
menu title.
13) The air sampler is now in the Automatic adjustment and calibration menu.
