11.6. AUTOMATIC ADJ. AND CALIB. WITH CERTIFICATE
PROCEDURE
1) Perform the following steps in a clean and draft-free place, with all instruments placed
on a stable base.
2) If the air sampler features an Easy-Clean-Base:
– Remove the perforated lid.
– Place a MAS-100 Family Calibration Disk or a Petri dish inside the sampling head.
3) Check the lower edge of the perforated lid visually
to ensure that there are no notches or unevenness.
This could lead to a leak between the perforated lid
and the base.
Damaged perforated lids must be replaced.
4) Remount the perforated lid.
5) Place the anemometer on the perforated lid of the air sampler.
6) Connect the air sampler to the anemometer with the suitable communication cable.
7) Connect the air sampler to the PC with the suitable communication cable.
8) Start the anemometer by pressing the ON/OFF
button.
The anemometer is in mass flow mode, showing
SLPM on the display.
9) Start up the air sampler by connecting it to the power.
10) Start the PC.
11) Start the PC Software and login:
