Replacing Motor Drive Belt or Motor
1. Remove Right-hand Side Cover.
NOTE: To remove the motor, remove the
five screws holding the right-hand side
cover.
2. [1] Loosen the (2) motor mounting screws to
relieve tension on the Motor Drive Belt.
[2] Then remove the (2) screws ] and the
Encoder Sensor.
NOTE: To remove the Motor, disconnect
the wires and remove the two mounting
screws.
CAUTION
DO NOT SCRATCH OR OTHERWISE
DAMAGE THE ENCODER WHEEL
WHEN REMOVING THE MOTOR
DRIVE BELT.
3. Carefully remove the Motor Drive Belt by
lifting it over and around the Encoder Wheel.
4. Replace the belt in reverse order, and then adjust the belt per the adjustment instructions in Section 4.
Replacing the Clutch
1. Remove Right-hand Side Cover.
2. Disconnect the Clutch from the wiring harness.
