Viewing and Printing Data Results
After analysis or calibration, the display returns to the Reload prompt.
A report is generated automatically to the destination you select at the Set Up > Report
Options as follows:
Printer: report is automatically sent to the printer
Transmission line: report is automatically sent through the serial line to an attached
device for this purpose
E-mail: report is e-mailed to the address you specified (when connected to a network)
An asterisk at the Reload prompt indicates that error messages have been generated during
operation. (Refer to ERROR MESSAGES, page A-1 for additional information on viewing
and deleting error messages.) If you wish to view report data by points, use the Review func-
tion explained on page 4-7.
View Data
Reports are generated after analysis and calibration, and remain available for viewing or print-
ing until another automatic operation (other than zero) is performed. When you perform an
automatic operation, data from the previous operation are no longer available for viewing on
the display.
A display report is always generated regardless of the specified destination and contains data
as follows:
Analysis: the average density (or volume) and the deviation from the mean.
Calibration: average cell (or expansion volume) and the deviation from the mean
Print Data
To retain a record of analysis or calibration data, press Alt + 6 to generate a report to an
attached printer. Printed reports contain data as follows:
Analysis: volume, density, and deviation for each cycle, as well as an average of all
cycles. The report also contains the date and time the analysis was started and
completed and the temperature of the cell chamber.
Calibration: cell and expansion volumes and deviations for each cycle, as well as an
average of all cycles. The report also contains the date and time the calibration started
and completed.
