Operating the channel fader assignments
During normal operation the assignments of the assignable controls section follow
the cross-hair (see “GUI cross-hair” on page 39) processing area selection. This lets
you control a predetermined button and control knob within the selected processing
area. You can change the button assignment within a processing area (using the ALT
button), but the control knob assignment remains fixed.

Each set of assignable controls operates the selected processing area
controls of the channel currently assigned to the channel fader strip
immediately below
