Menu mode
This plotter is provided with the following four modes:
< NOT-READY > mode
The plotter is in this mode until the media is detected.
The keys other than the key are effective.
< LOCAL > mode
The plotter enters this mode after the sheet detection.
All the keys are effective.
The plotter can receive data from the computer. However, it will not perform cutting (plotting).
This mode permits the following operations:
(1)Pressing the appropriate [JOG] keys to move the sheet or carriage little by little or set the origin.
(2)Pressing the key to select a tool or set the tool conditions.
(3)Pressing the key to detect the sheet.
(4)Pressing the key to set functions.
(5)Pressing the key to feed the sheet by the length to be used.
(6)Pressing the key to make the plotter enter the REMOTE mode.
< REMOTE > mode
The plotter performs cutting (plotting) according to the received data.
Pressing the key interrupts the cutting operation and returns the plotter to the LOCAL
mode.
Pressing the key once again resumes cutting.
Pressing the key during cutting brings the plotter into the HOLD state.( P.3-24)
< FUNCTION > mode
To set the FUNCTION mode, press the key when the plotter is in the LOCAL mode.
Set various cutting (plotting) conditions in this mode.
If there is data for which cutting has not been finished yet, there is a case where you cannot change
settings.
In such a case, let the cutting finish or execute [DATA CREAR] first and then start changing the settings.
