Set the distance compensation

Useful Function
Setting procedure
1
Press the key in the local mode.
Tool conditions are displayed with the cursor
blinking at the [SPEED] value.

Press the jog key .
The cursor blinks at the tool number.
Press the jog key or to change the tool number.

Press the jog key .
Press the jug key to return to select the tool
number.

Press the key .
The display shows each of the current
compensation values for about one second first. Then the display shows the reference
length (mm) that was subjected to the previous compensation.
If no distance compensation has been performed, the minimum reference length will be
displayed.
The display will be as shown at right if the selected unit of
length [MM/INCH] is different from that selected at the
previous compensation.

Change the reference lengths in the A direction (back and forth
direction) with the jog key or .
The reference length in the A direction turns out to be the reference length for both of AR
(back and forth direction in the right side) and AL (back and forth direction in the left side).
If you change the reference lengths in the A direction, the distance compensation values
(AR, AL) will be cleared.

Press the key to determine
the reference length in the A direction.
You can determine it also with the jog key .
Move to set the reference length in the B direction.
