Chapter 3 Settings

With the screen in local mode, select
[MENU] > [MACHINE SETUP], and then
press the [ENTER] key.
The MACHINE SETUP menu is displayed.

Select [SPACE FEED MODE] and press the
[ENTER] key.

Select a setting value and press the
[ENTER] key.
INTERMITTENT: Feeds intermittently based on a
fraction of a printing pass.
CONTINUOUS: Feeds by skipping blank parts all
at once.
Setting the network

With the screen in local mode, select
[MENU] > [MACHINE SETUP], and then
press the [ENTER] key.
The MACHINE SETUP menu is displayed.

Select [NETWORK] > [Check IP
ADDRESS], and then press the [ENTER]
key.
The machine's current IP address is displayed.
After you have checked it, press the [ENTER] key.

Select [Check MAC ADDRESS] and press
the [ENTER] key.
The machine's current MAC address is displayed.
After you have checked it, press the [ENTER] key.

Select [DHCP] and press the [ENTER] key.

Select a setting value and press the
[ENTER] key.
Setting value: ON / OFF
Set to ON to use an IP address set by the DHCP
server.

Select [AutoIP] and press the [ENTER] key.

Select a setting value and press the
[ENTER] key.
Setting value: ON / OFF
Set to ON to use an IP address set by the AutoIP
protocol. Note that DHCP is given priority when
DHCP is set to ON.

Select [IP ADDRESS] and press the
[ENTER] key.

Select a setting value and press the
[ENTER] key.
Setting value: ON / OFF
You can set an IP address when both DHCP and
AutoIP are set to OFF. In other cases, go to step
14.

Press the key.
Setting items for the default gateway, DNS
address, and subnet mask are displayed.
You can set the default gateway, DNS address,
and subnet mask when both DHCP and AutoIP
are set to OFF. In other cases, go to step 12.

Select a setting item and press the
[ENTER] key.

Select a setting value and press the
[ENTER] key.
It takes some time after a network connection is
established until the IP address is determined.
"0.0.0.0" is displayed when the IP address has
not been determined yet.
Restart the machine to apply network settings.
