Electromagnetic Compatibility
E - 2 Operator’s Manual of Anesthesia System
NOTE: The EMISSIONS characteristics of A8 anesthesia system make it suitable
for use in industrial areas and hospitals (CISPR 11 class A). If it is used in
a residential environment (for which CISPR 11 class B is normally
required) A8 anesthesia system might not offer adequate protection to
radio-frequency communication services. The user might need to take
mitigation measures, such as relocating or re-orienting A8 anesthesia
system.
NOTE: If the essential performance is lost or degraded, it may be necessary to
take mitigation measures, such as re-orienting or relocating the ME
EQUIPMENT or ME SYSTEM or shielding the location or stopping using
A8 anesthesia system and contact the service personnel.
GUIDANCE AND DECLARATION - ELECTROMAGNETIC EMISSIONS
A8 anesthesia system is intended for use in the specified electromagnetic environment. The customer or
the user of A8 anesthesia system should assure that it is used in such an environment as described below.

CISPR 11
Group 1 A8 anesthesia system uses RF energy only for its internal
function. Therefore, its RF emissions are very low and are
not likely to cause any interference in nearby electronic
equipment.

Class B A8 anesthesia system is suitable for use in all
establishments, including domestic establishments and
those directly connected to the public low-voltage power
supply network that supplies buildings used for domestic
purposes.
