8.2.4 Flexi Line data in the logic editor
Each Flexi Line station automatically prepares a local instance of the process image
from the data received from its neighboring stations. If local information on the
related station affects global bits, these values are also immediately taken into
account in the local instance of the process image.
The output process image is prepared with the aid of Routing function blocks. Here
the signals on the local inputs must each be routed to a Flexi Line output.
Then the values on these local inputs are available in the entire Flexi Line system as
Flexi Line inputs via the Flexi Line process image.
In the context of the logic programming, the Flexi Line inputs do not differ from other
types of safety inputs.
