Emptying the hot water heater
The water heater is of the coil type and is drained using the
siphon principle. This can be done either via the drain valve on
the incoming cold water pipe or by inserting a hose into the
cold water connection.
Emptying the vessel
Contact your installer if the vessel in indoor unit needs emptying.
Maintenance of outdoor unit
Outdoor unit is equipped with control and monitoring equipment,
however some exterior maintenance is still necessary.
Makeregularchecksthroughouttheyearthattheinletgrilleis
notcloggedbyleaves,snoworanythingelse.Duringthecold
monthsoftheyear,checktomakesurethatthereisn’tabuildup
oficeorfrostunderoutdoorunit.Strongwindcombinedwith
heavy snowfallcanblock the intakeandexhaust airgrilles.
Makesurethatthereisnosnowonthegrilles.
Alsocheckthatthecondensationwaterdrainunderoutdoorunitis
notblocked.
If necessary the outer casing can be cleaned using a damp
cloth. Care must be exercised so that the heat pump is not
scratched when cleaning. Avoid spraying water into the grilles
orthesidessothatwaterpenetratesintooutdoorunit.Prevent
outdoorunitcomingintocontactwithalkalinecleaningagents.

Saving tips
Your Hydrolution produces heat and hot water according to
yourneeds.Italsoattemptstocarryoutallrequirementswith
all available “aids” from the control settings made.
The indoor temperature is naturally affected by the energy
consumption.Therefore, take care not to set a temperature
higher than necessary.
Otherknownfactorsthat affectthe energyconsumptionare,
for example, hot water consumption and the insulation level of
the house, as well as the level of comfort you require.

Also remember:
■ Open the thermostat valves completely (except in the
rooms thataretobekept coolerforvariousreasons,e.g.
bedrooms).
Thermostat valves in the radiators and floor loops can
negativelyaffecttheenergyconsumption.Theyslowtheow
in the heating system, which the heat pump wants to
compensatewithincreasedtemperatures.Itthenworksharder
and consumes more electrical energy.
