Connecting hot water coil to water main
The water heater in the indoor unit must be supplied with
necessary set of valves.
■ Theremustbeamixingvalveifthetemperatureexceeds60°C.
■ Thermostatic mixing valve is necessary for hot water
supply at a stable temperature even if the temperature does
not exceed 60 °C
■ Thesafetyvalvemusthaveamaximum10.0baropening
pressure and be installed on the incoming domestic water
line according to outline diagram. The entire length of the
overf low water pipe from the safety valves must be
inclined to prevent water pockets and must also be frost
proof.
■ Theendofoverowpipefromthesafetyvalvesmustbeleft
open to the atmosphere. The water may drip from the pipe.

Extra electric hot water heater
The heat pump should be supplemented with an electric water
heater,ifahottuborothersignificantconsumerofhotwateris
installed.
Connecting the hot water heater
Connecting hot water tank to HMS140V
ForHMS140V,it isnecessary toconnect hot water tank or
baffer vessel.
■ Tank and its pipings to indoor unit must be installed
indoors where the temperature wouldn’t drop below 15 °C
in order to prevent pipings from icing.
■ MaximumpipinglengthbetweenHMS140Vandtankis10m
■ Tankunitshouldbeplacedonf irm,preferablyaconcrete
f loor or foundation.
■ Tankunitcanbealignedusingtheadjustablefeet.
■ Ensurethatthereis1000mmfreespaceinfrontand 300
mm above the product for future service.
