PWM signal
The output signal is a square wave with a constant period of oscil-
lation. Its pulse width is proportional to the current frequency
value (0 to 10 V correspond to 0 Hz to the end frequency).
If for example, a higher level of smoothing of the PWM signal is
required for a motor current display, an external low-pass filter
circuit is required.
FM signal
The frequency of this signal (PNU C027 = 00) changes proportio-
nally to the output frequency. The pulse duty factor remains
constant at about 50 %. The output frequency at the FM terminal
is ten times that of the DV6 frequency inverter’s maximum output
frequency, i.e. up to 4 kHz. This signal does not have to be
matched; its accuracy is monitored digitally.
