External fault message (EXT)
When the digital input configured as EXT is activated, fault
message E12 is issued (for example to be used as input for ther-
mistor contacts). The fault message remains active even if the EXT
input is deactivated again and must be acknowledged with a reset.
A reset can be carried out with:
the RST input or
the OFF key.
Alternatively, the supply voltage can be switched off and on
again.
X Program one of the digital inputs 1 to 8 as EXT by entering the
value 12 under the corresponding PNU (C001 to C008).
