Caution
Risk of injury or damage
Before towing this unit check the following:
l
The pintle hitch and lunette ring are the same size.
l
The pintle hitch is latched.
l
The safety chains are crossed under the trailer tongue and attached to
towing vehicle.
l
Trailer brakes are properly adjusted and the break-away device is
attached to the towing vehicle.
l
The tongue jack is retracted.
l
The wheel lug nuts are properly tightened.
l
The tires are inflated to the correct pressure.
l
All gates, ramps, and latches are secure.
l
Any under-carriage bolts, nuts and equalizers are tight and not worn.
l
The load is within the trailer capacity and distributed properly to
maintain proper tongue weight. NEVER OVERLOAD!
l
The load is secure.
1.8.1 Trailer registration
Tip
Before towing the unit on public roads, you must obtain the trailer's title and
registration from the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
For each unit's trailer, Moxion Power provides a Manufacturer's Statement of
Origin (MSO) document that you can use for registration. Before towing your
unit, your MSO application must be processed and approved.

Caution
Risk of damage!
l Always switch the unit to
OFF
before transporting.
l Secure all four panels at the back of the unit before transportation.
l Make sure the unit is secure on ground level before attaching the
trailer.
l The unit must be level when towed.
If renting a unit directly from Moxion Power, please refer to the
registration provided in the rear storage pouch or call Moxion
customer support for more information.
