Optional Ultima Power Supply
General
An optional Power Supply provides DC voltage for the
Ultima Gas Monitors. It is particularly useful at remote locations
for avoiding excessive DC line drop (where 85 to 265 VAC
is available). The Power Supply can be chosen with the
following specifications:

Mounting
The Ultima Power Supply can be mounted in Class I, Groups B,
C and D, Division 1, Hazardous locations.
1. Locate the power supply module near the Ultima Gas Monitor.
Orient the module so that the DC output is easily wired to
the Ultima Gas Monitor.
2. Mount the module to a solid structure using appropriate
hardware (not supplied).

Before wiring the Ultima Power Supply Module, verify that
the main power source feeding the module is disconnected
or disabled; otherwise, a potential shock hazard exists which
may result in injury or death if improperly handled.

1. Unscrew and open the Ultima Power Supply Module (FIGURE
B-1) cover.
