Tipping
If the atrack/body overhang is too much, the rear end of the atrack/body will touch the
ground when tipping and the atrack/body, truck or hooklift equipment will be damaged.
In very cold weather the load might freeze tight on the atrack/body. In that case it must
be freed before tipping. Note that the load might come out in large chunks!
NEVER TIP UNDER THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES:
• Flatrack/body is top heavy at the front end or at either side.
• Load is frozen or only partially loose
• Ground is slippery or uneven
• Strong side wind, which exceeds over 20 m/s
If it is necessary to drive with the tipping device up, pay attention to the vicinity regarding
the height of the hooklift equipment / atrack/body with respect to the surroundings like
bridges, tunnels and overhead power lines! Drive slowly and be extra careful.
If the tipping angle is changed during driving, the gearbox bears an extra burden, and the
truck can make unexpected motions on a slippery surface.
