Problems with EXPRESSBUILDER
When the server is not booted from the EXPRESSBUILDER CD-ROM, check the following:
• Did you set the EXPRESSBUILDER during POST and restart the server?
→ If you do not set the EXPRESSBUILDER during POST and restart the server, an error message will
appear or the operating system will boot.
• Is BIOS configuration correct?
→ The boot device order may be specified with the BIOS setup utility of the server. Use the BIOS setup
utility to change the boot device order to boot the system from the CD-ROM drive first.

• Is an error message appeared?
→ When an error occurs while the EXPRESSBUILDER is in progress, the following message appears.
After this message appears, check the error and take the appropriate corrective action according to the
message listed in the table below.
Message Cause and Remedy
This machine is not supported.
This EXPRESSBUILDER version is not designed for this server. Run
the EXPRESSBUILDER on the compliant server.
NvRAM access error. An access to the non-volatile memory (NvRAM) is not acceptable.
Hard disk access error. The hard disk is not connected or it is failed.
Check whether the hard disk is correctly connected.
The system-specific information does not exist on
the I/O board.
Please restore the backup data or write the data by
using [System Information Management] of the
Off-line Maintenance Utility.
Only the authorized personnel are allowed to do this
operation.
The system-specific information cannot be acquired in the I/O board
exchange and so on.
