Operation
To enable the headset:
1. Plug in the headset into the headset jack on the bottom of the telephone.
2. Program a Headset key (Program 15-07 or SC 751: 05).
You hear a confirmation beep.
To use the headset:
The Headset key lights when on a call. To disconnect, press the Headset key again.
You can still use the handset for calls or respond to voice-announced Intercom calls with the headset plugged
in. The headset only activates when the Headset key is pressed.
Answer a ringing call by pressing the Headset key.
- OR -
Press the Headset key and then a line key or press Speaker then 9 to make a outgoing call.
- OR -
Press the Headset key to get intercom dial tone.
- OR -
If on a call, press the Headset key to hang up.

Telephones – Headset Busy Mode
Set the conditions under which a
headset extension is busy to
incoming callers:
The Headset extension is busy to
incoming callers when only one
extension appearance is busy (0).
- OR -
Headset extension is busy to
incoming callers only when both
extension appearances are busy
(1).
0 = No
1 = Yes
(default = 0)
