Connection Account
RS-232C Connection (Direct Connection)
STEP4: Select “Direct” from the Connection Type field.
The display of the Preferences Area will change to suit an RS-232C connection (direct con-
nection).
STEP5: Set items (1) and (2).
STEP6: Click the [OK] button.
The connection account is added to the [Connection Accounts] screen.
STEP7: Click [Close] button in the [Connection Accounts] screen.
The [Connection Accounts] screen closes, returning you to the [PCPro] window.
A connection account for an RS-232C connection (direct connection) has now been created.

(1) COM Port field Choose from the following PCPro RS-232C connection ports to con-
nect PCPro to the SV8300:
• COM1 to COM8 (default: COM1)
* An usable COM port detected by PC is displayed.
(2) Baud field Choose from the following band rate between PCPro and SV8300:
• 1200/2400/4800/9600/19200 (default: 9600)
