Register a Temporary Activation Code
Register a temporary Activation Code to run the SV8300 temporarily until an Activation Code obtained
from the Software License Authentication Center can be registered. Follow these steps to register a tem-
perature Activation Code.
For instructions on how to obtain license data, see “Software License Authentication Center User’s
Guide. Software License Authentication Center User’s Guide” can be browsed by logging in to the
Software License Authentication Center (Web server).
NOTE 1: If thirty days have passed since you started running the system without registering an Acti-
vation Code following the registration of a temporary Activation Code, the following fault
information is displayed:
- Error type (FK): 017
-Alarm: MJ
- Explanation: Activation Code error occurred during the License Activation
(Center Activation)
- Error type: ID code error
NOTE 2: Once a temporary Activation Code is registered, the system data must be backed up.
1. Obtain license data
Access the Software License Authentication Center (Web
server) to download license data on the basis of the Software
Key Code found in the license sheet supplied with the product.
2. Verify and register the
license data
Register the downloaded license data onto the SV8300 to
create a PBX creation file. Page 4-37
