8.13 Menu N: Storage
Menu N Storage provides user parameters for the media card option on the Elevator drive, which supports both SMARTCARDS and SD Cards (FAT
formatted SD card).
The NV Media Card option on the Elevator drive supports the following actions:
• Read - Allows the transfer of existing parameter data to the Elevator drive from the media card.
• Program - Allows the transfer of parameter data from the Elevator drive to a parameter file on the media card with file identification number 1.
• Auto - Allows the transfer of parameter data from the Elevator drive to a parameter file on the NV Media Card with file identification number 1.
In addition any parameter in User Menu A changed via the keypad is saved both to the drive memory, and the parameter file on the NV Media
Card with file identification number 1
• Boot - Allows the transfer of parameter data from the Elevator drive to a parameter file on the NV Media Card with file identification number 1.
In addition any parameter in User Menu A changed via the keypad is saved both to the drive memory, and the parameter file on the NV Media
Card with file identification number 1. When the Elevator drive is powered up it detects which option modules are fitted before loading parameters
from a media card which has been set up for Boot.
The NV Media Card can be used as a means for storing the complete drive parameter set following commissioning, set-up and tuning, used during
multiple drive system installation, copying parameters across multiple drives, or used to set-up a replacement Elevator drive. The NV Media Card can
be used to store drive parameter sets from the Elevator drive in data blocks 001 to 499 supporting multiple drives with different ratings and parameter
sets.
