8.14 Menu O: Back-up power
Menu O Backup power provides support for rescue operation during the loss of the main AC power supply.
Within the backup operation support on the Elevator drive are the following features.

• Low voltage power supply operation
• Low voltage power supply selection based on the system configuration and drive input stage (diode rectifier input stage or half controlled
• thyristor input stage)
• Power supply monitoring • Slow rectifier charge option for drives with half controlled thyristor

• UPS protection to avoid overloading and to extend UPS operating time
• Elevator load value and direction measurement during Start or Start and Travel for rescue in the direction of least load
