4.3.2 Relative set position (position increment array) via digital inputs / BUS IO Bits
Positioning with relative set positions is primarily used if there are no fixed positions, but rather relative
positions which are approached by the drive unit ("move by x increments"). This includes endless
axes.
As with fixed positions, the position increments are also defined via parameter P613. However, the
number of available positions is limited to the first 6 entries (P613 [-01]…[-06]).
If the input signal changes from "0" to "1" the value of the selected element is added to the setpoint
position. The values can be positive or negative, so that a return to the starting position is also
possible. The addition is carried out with each positive signal flank, regardless of whether or not the
inverter is enabled. A multiple of the parameterised increment can be specified with several
consecutive pulses to the allocated input. The pulse width and the width of the pauses between pulses
must be at least 10 ms.
If the relative setpoint position is specified via Bus IO In Bits, the position increment results from bits
0...5 of the serial interface. For this, a bus setpoint value (P546…, "Function Bus - Setpoints") must be
set in the setting 20 "Bus IO In Bits 0-7" and the functions assigned to the corresponding bits under
P480 "Function Bus I/O In Bits".
