4.3.3 Bus setpoints
Transfer of the setpoint can be carried out via various field bus systems. The position can be specified
in terms of rotations or increments.
A rotation of the motor then corresponds to a resolution of 1/1000 rotation or 32768 increments.
The source of the bus setpoint via the relevant field bus must be selected in parameter P510 "Setpoint
Source". The position setpoints to be transferred via the bus must be set in parameters P546
"Function Bus Setpoints"
The High and Low words should be used in order to utilise the entire positioning range (32 Bit
position).

4.3.3.1 Absolute set position (position array) via field bus
If the "Bus" setting 3 is parameterised in parameter P610 "Setpoint Mode", the setpoint specification is
exclusively made via a field bus system. The setting of the field bus system is parameterised in
parameter P509 "Control word source". For the "Bus" setting, the functions of the digital inputs as well
as the Bus IO In Bits for the specification of the position from parameter P613 "Position" / position
array elements are not enabled.

4.3.3.2 Relative set position (position increment array) via field bus
If the "Bus" setting 4 for "Bus increment" is parameterised in parameter P610 "Setpoint Mode", the
setpoint specification for the relative position is made via a field bus system. The setting of the field
bus system is parameterised in parameter P509 "Control word source". Adoption of the setpoint is
made on a change of flank from "0" to "1" using function 62 "Sync. position array“ (P420 or P480).
