Motor Drive Parameters
The motor drive parameters are factory set and do not need to be changed.
Use this procedure only if a motor drive parameter is inadvertently changed
and needs to be changed back to the factory setting shown in Tables 6‐4 to
6‐12. The motor drive parameters are changed using the buttons on the
motor drive, which is located inside the electrical enclosure. See Figures 6‐2
and 6‐3 for the motor drive controls and menu structure.
Changing a Motor Drive Parameter
To prepare for changing a motor drive parameter
1. Switch the melter on and ensure that the heaters are on.
2. Disable the pump.
3. Open the melter electrical enclosure and locate the motor drive. Refer to
Control Module Parts in Section 7, Parts, as needed.
4. Open the access door on the drive.
The display should show rdy.
Enter button—press (1) to move
through the programming steps or (2) to
confirm/enter the displayed value.
ESC button—press (1) to exit a menu
or parameter and return to a previous
step or (2) to clear an entry and revert
to the value stored in memory.
Jog dial—rotate (1) to move forward
(clockwise) or backward (counterclockwise)
through the menus or (2) to increase
(clockwise) or decrease (counterclockwise) a
value.
