Connect the Power Cable
to the facility outlet and
switch Main Circuit Breaker
to ON (I) position,
Did the Scale initialize?
Press the green ON (I) button on
the Operator’s Console, and
enter FmNT.

Locate and observe the green
LED on the Scale Control
Module.
Is the green LED
illuminated?
In the FmNT Main Window,
click Configuration and select
Setup Scale.
Go to Scale Power

In the FmNT Scale Setup
Window, Scale Operations tab,
observe the weight displayed
next to Current Reading.
Remove the Scale Cup.
Did the weight
displayed in the Scale
Setup Window
change?
Click the Zero Scale button.
Did the reading
change to and stabilize
at 0.00?
On the Setup Scale D104 tab,
adjust the Filter and/or Stability
settings. (Refer to FmNT User
Guide or FmNT Online Help.)
Stop! Scale Operation is

root cause of fault.
