Programming Navigation
When the installer is using the System Conguraon menus,
the Control Panel will present each programming queson
sequenally. Most programming quesons have a single
numeric value response or a simple enabled/ disabled selecon.
Some programming quesons have sub- opons that can be set.
These sub-opons are displayed for the queson selected and
can be accessed through navigaon keys on the display.
Navigation Arrows & Go To Button
The programming queson screens display up, down, le, and
right navigaon arrows. Use these arrows to scroll through the
programming quesons and to select sub- opons.
Tap the Go To buon and then enter a two (2)-digit code to
jump directly to a programming queson. See “Programming
Queson Table” on page 28. The Go To buon changes to Cancel
when waing for you to enter a queson number. Tap Cancel to
back out.

The ↑ and ↓ arrows select the next or previous
programming sub-queson.
The ← and → arrows choose values for the queson on
or move the cursor le and right along the white data
entry eld.

Questions with Data Entry
Some of the programming quesons require entering
numeric or alphabec data. For devices that can be named,
the Control Panel contains a large vocabulary with words to
choose from. See “Voice Descriptors” on page 35.
Tap Insert to display the rst word in the Voice
Descriptors list. Use the ← and → arrows to scroll
through the word list, or enter the corresponding three
(3)-digit code. See “Voice Descriptors” on page 35.
Tap Backspace to move the cursor to the le and delete
one (1) character at a me.
Tap Delete to delete one character to the right of the
cursor or any characters that are highlighted.
Tap Forward to highlight the next word in a mul- word
data eld.
Tap Back to highlight the previous word in a mul- word
data eld. The Back buon displays the previous screen
in some cases.
Tap Shi to reveal alternate characters on the keypad
that can be used for data entry.

Questions without Sub-Options
Most of the programming quesons do not have sub- opons.
They navigate as follows. Quesons without sub- opons do
not display a Skip buon.
