2. At the Restore Default System Conguraon screen,
select one or both check-boxes:
Zones. Place a check-mark in this box to replace data for
ALL sensors with the factory default values.
AND/OR
Console. Place a check-mark in this box to replace all of
the programming answers with the factory defaults. This
erases the user codes, resets the backlight meout to ve
(5) minutes, and resets the Brightness/Volume sengs.
IMPORTANT: This acon does not restore the factory default
sengs for Z-Wave quesons Q79-Q83.
Hard Reset
A hard‐reset restores all of the programming sengs back to
the factory defaults.
NOTE: Be fore performing a hard reset, Q44: Lock Installer
Programming
must be set to opon (1) or (2) and Q45: Lock
Default Programming must be set to (0). See “Q44: Lock
Installer Programming (0-2)” on page 52.
To perform a hard reset:
1. Remove the Control Panel cover and completely
disconnect all power to the Control Panel.
2. On the inside back of the Control Panel, plug in the
backup baery.
3. Tap and hold down the Emergency and Home
buons.
4. Connue to hold down the Emergency and Home
buons and then connect DC Power to the Control
Panel.
5. Release the buons only aer both the Emergency
and Home buons are lit and the Control Panel
screen appears.
Restore Default System Configuration
You can restore the Control Panel sengs back to its
factory defaults. There are two (2) types of reset opons:
So and hard.
Soft Reset
A so‐reset lets you select which sengs to restore back
to the factory defaults.
To perform a so-reset:
1. At the Installer Toolbox screen, tap the Restore
Default buon. The Restore Default System
Conguraon screen appears.
