4.3.1 Tips for setting up and configuring PLUs
Step 1: Configuring content of a PLU
In the factory setting, an item (PLU) offers the following data fields. In sub-menu 231, the data fields
can be modified.
• Article Number
• Article Name
• Unit Price
• Unit of Measures
• Customized Unit
• Discount
• Price Overwriting
• Group
• Preset Tare
• VAT
Step 2: Organizing your products
The scale offers groups to organize your products. If desired, go to the following sub-menus:
• F113: Groups
Step 3: Editing lists
For many PLU items the scale offers lists to select from instead of entering the data directly when
editing the PLU. To create lists, go to the following sub-menus:
• F115: Preset Tare
• F117: VAT
