Additional Information
You can check the width of the CPU Rack when you create the Unit configuration on the CPU
and Expansion Racks Tab Page on the Sysmac Studio. On the CPU and Expansion Racks T
ab
Page on the Sysmac Studio, click
on the right end of the CPU Rack to display the width.
However, since CPU Rack is displayed on the Sysmac Studio separately as CPU Rack: X Bus
and
CPU Rack: NX Bus, it is not possible to display both the X Bus Unit and the NX Bus Unit.
Also, the dimension without the End Cover (6 mm) is displayed for the CPU Unit on the X Bus
Unit side.
Installation Height
The installation height of the CPU Rack depends on the model of DIN Track and on the models of NX
Units that are mounted.
Also, additional space is required for the cables that are connected to the Unit. Allow sufficient depth in
the control panel and allow extra space when you mount the CPU Rack.
The following figure shows the dimensions from the cables connected to the CPU Rack to the back of
the Unit. The unit of dimension is millimeter

The height from the mounting surface of the DIN Track varies depending on the DIN Track to be used.
Refer to Installation Dimensions on page 5-32 for the height of individual DIN Track type.
