8 Dismantling / Mounting in Case of Service
8.1 General safety instructions
Electric shock hazard
Power supply cables are laid in the appliance. Contact with energised
components presents a danger to life from electric shock. Prior to mount-
ing and dismantling work, disconnect the appliance from the mains.
• Disconnect all the poles of the pendant system from the mains and
prevent it from being switched back on again.
• Check whether the end device (e.g. flat screen, OR lamp, etc.) is de-
energised.
• Wait until the end device (e.g. flat screen, OR lamp, etc.) has cooled
down.
Risk of parts falling off
During all mounting / dismantling work, it must be ensured that nobody is
located in the area underneath the pendant system.
Pendant system crashing
The spring arm 4 - 6 and the extension arms 3 are adapted to each
other with regard to their maximum loading capacity. The spring arm 4 -
6 must therefore not be dismantled from the extension arms 3 and
mounted to another extension arms 3.
Carrying out mounting and dismantling work
Mounting and dismantling work may only be carried out by specialist per-
sonnel authorised and instructed by the operator.
