9.2.2 Adjusting the spring tension on the ACROBAT LCH spring arm

Tool to be used
Use an Allen key (size 5).
Possible spring equipment versions
95 - 160Nm; 95 - 176Nm: The spring equipment mounted is indicated on the rating plate
on the top side of the LCH spring arm 6.
1. Slightly lift the LCH spring arm 6 in order to relieve the adjustment screw in the
spring arm.
2. Insert the Allen key into the adjustment hole 1.
If the LCH spring arm 6 moves down, the spring tension is too low.
Turn the Allen key to the left (anti-clockwise) as illustrated in the Figure.
If the LCH spring arm 6 moves up, the spring tension is too high.
Turn the Allen key to the right (clockwise) as illustrated in the Figure.
3. Perform a function test.
