3.4.3 How to change the language displayed in the review application
All users can change the language displayed in OptosAdvance.
1. Login to the system.

Select Settings.

Select Preferences > User Preferences.

Select the Preferred Language.

Select Save.
3.4.4 Storing and archiving images
Image storage is provided by OptosAdvance.
Storage status and archive configurations are accessed by selecting Settings > Device > Dicom.
Your Administrator is responsible for maintaining the storage and archive settings. You can get help storing
and archiving in the OptosAdvance help files or contact your Optos representative, see Contact us on
page67.
You should back-up your image server data at least once a week.
3.4.5 Managing connections
The ability to edit network settings is restricted to System Administrators.
If there are any connection problems ask your System Administrator to review your settings and where
necessary contact your Optos representative for instructions on how to proceed, see Contact us on page67.
3.4.6 Managing the Modality Work List

is available a traffic light system indicates if the scan head is connected to the server. The
traffic light icon is displayed on the search page on the touch screen. Selecting the traffic light icon will
display the network status and confirm if any patient details need to be reconciled with the server.
This screen will also confirm if there are patient details that need to be reconciled with the server.
3.4.7 Quality checks
Your system automatically runs specific checks during start up and shut down.
3.4.7.1 Self-tests
Each time the system starts it runs a series of self-tests. If any problems are identified please follow the on-
screen instructions and take appropriate action or contact your Optos representative, see Contact us on
page67.
3.4.7.2 Status indicator
The status of the scan head is identified using different colored lights on the status indicator. For more
information see System parts on page22.
